Such a big girl

This week I went to the doctor's office for my 4-month check-up. I weighed in at 12 pounds and I am 24 inches tall. I am still really tall and skinny but my legs are getting some chunk for mommy and daddy to kiss. I also had another round of shots which gave me a fever for a day but I am all better now.

I am so lucky because daddy surprised me with the baby Penelope pup (not pictured) which completes my puppy doll collection.

This week, I had a playdate with my bff Maya who I love to spend time with. Now that I am more alert and have great hand control, we were both trying to hold eachother's hands while we were sitting side by side posing for our picture. We are too cute!

Then, I met my cousin Anat and her new husband Yona who flew in all the way from Arizona to come visit. I didn't get to play with them for long enough, so I hope I get to see them again soon. I miss them already!

Finally, I took my first train ride to Downtown Chicago to go visit my daddy and mommy's workplace. I met so many people who all told me the same thing.... that I am sooooo cute! I had so much fun in the city and on the train and can't wait until I go visit again.

But the best part of my week is when mommy and daddy got the go-ahead from the doctor to start me on solid foods. Rice cereal isn't too thrilling, but I am learning how to eat off a spoon. Actually, it didn't take me very long to figure it out and now I am a professional eater. Enjoy the pictures and video!

This is what I thought of mommy and daddy when we were in the waiting room of the doctor's office. I cant talk, but my fingers say it all!

I'm Popeye the Sailor Baby!
Maya and me having lunch and shopping
Anatti and Yona- I love you both so much!

Don't we resemble eachother??

I was sleeping, but mommy got a shot of us right before we headed onto the train

Hello to all my new friends at PriceWaterhouseCoopers!

Yummy

This week I had a playdate with my grandma Terri and aunties Rita and Sandi and then saw the family again at grandma Terri's birthday party. We had so much fun and I enjoyed being held by all my family. This week I started laughing at myself when I would do something funny, and I also laugh when I anticipate that mommy is going to tickle me. She just gives me that look- and I start giggling! I love to play and interact with people and I easily get bored when I am not played with. But who wouldn't want to play and laugh with me... I am so cute and fun to be with!

This week my bubby Helene gave me a special lollypop treat. I am pretty sure babies my age shouldn't be eating junk food, but she just couldn't resist. I think my mommy will think twice about letting her choose my meal plan... But I really enjoyed it! YUMMY! Maybe mommy and daddy will take this experience as a clue and introduce solid foods to me soon.

Enjoy. I know I did!!!!

Mommy wasn't sharing her shabbat wine with me, so I figured I would take it myself!

I am not shrinking! Now I have both the medium and extra large penelope pups.... and I think the baby pup is coming soon!!!
Happy birthday Grandma Terri!

I was so happy after mommy gave me a frozen teething toy. It felt so good!

Laughing and singing in my crib
Mommy and me looking at the goats at Indian Boundary Park. I wasn't too impressed with the variety of animals though.
Me and my lollypop. I couldn't get enough.... so good thing I dont have teeth to ruin yet. Bad Bubby!

The best sound in the world!

Hello everyone-

It has been a pretty uneventful week for me since I have been getting over a little cold. Mommy and daddy think I got it from my airplane ride back from California but who really knows how a baby catches a cold. I am starting to feel a lot better thanks to Tylenol and saline nose spray. The weather has been super hot so mommy and I have been spending lots of time playing indoors while I am getting better.

Lately I love putting my fingers in my mouth and sucking on them. I go as far as trying to get my entire hand in my mouth all at once! And I also try to sneak my fingers in my mouth while mommy is feeding me but she always moves my hand away. I guess I will learn eventually! And I am drooling so much now that mommy has to change my bibs and outfits even more frequently. Bubby Helene is convinced I am teething, but I think I still have some time before a tooth will come.

I do have a special treat this week. Mommy was able to capture my best laugh on video to share with you. So make sure to watch!

My First Wedding and Vacation

This week I have some more 3 month photos to share with you that we took as a family. They came out so great and mommy and daddy are thrilled that I am so photogenic! Then we went to Los Angeles, California over the 4th of July weekend to celebrate my cousin Mikey's wedding. The wedding was beautiful and I had so much fun seeing all my extended family and cousins who live in LA. I loved shopping at all the boutiques because I got the cutest stuff. I also went swimming for the first time at the pool since the weather was so nice. I didn't mind the plane ride at all and I pretty much slept the entire time. But my favorite part about the whole trip was going at night to the Universal City Walk and to Hollywood Blvd where there were so many bright lights to look at. Even though it was way past my bedtime- the lights kept me happy and very entertained. Enjoy the pictures and videos!

My first limo ride- we were cruisin to the airport in style!
On the airplane with mommy
Waiting for the chuppah ceremony to start at the wedding. I was so tired!

With the beautiful bride and groom- I love you Mikey and Naomi!

At Starbucks just taking a break from all the shopping!
I was part of the window display with all the Barbie dolls at the City Walk
